Summer Acting Basics Class

Are you a serious young actor looking to make it in the world of theatre or film? Are you a curious first timer who would like to learn something new? or Are you someone who would like to learn a great way to improve public speaking, relieve anxiety or just be able to express yourself with confidence?

If you answered, "Yes", to any of these, THIS CLASS IS FOR YOU!

Come learn from Dr. Frank Munroe, a Twenty-Five year veteran of stage and screen, as he guides you through classic techniques (Stanislavski, Meisner, Chekhov, Adler, Spolin) all of the way through Modern Theatre and Film Acting!

You will also work on: learning how to read, react and properly beat your script to get the most out of the text (and subtext); warm up your most important instruments- Your Body, Mind and Voice!; and most importantly, HOW TO GET THE ROLE! We will walk step-by-step on how to prepare for and audition for the parts that you were meant to play!

Thursdays 7-9PM, June 19th-July 24th. Ages 15+
