Italian Pianist, Francesco Cipolletta and South African Cellist, Jacques-Pierre Malan perform a lush program inspired by quintessential Romantic Composers: Mendelssohn, Schumann, Faure, and featuring Chopin's famous Sonata for Cello and Piano! Although Chopin is most recognized for his Piano music, come and hear for yourself, why Cello was Chopin's other favorite instrument!
The Piano and Cello are a duo of unparalleled beauty, and we look forward to hosting these two talented, world-class artists in our serene Grotrian Recital Room. This is an evening of Chamber Music not to be missed, with the added opportunity to hear Cipolletta give a Masterclass to Fairfax Conservatory Students. We look forward to seeing you June 5th!
