Introduction To Cake Decorating

We are here to help you with your cake decorating skills! In this class you will learn how to properly build, fill, crumb coat and ice a cake with close to perfect edges and borders. You will learn tips and tricks on how to work with buttercream and advice on baking. This class is perfect for first-timers as well as students who need a refresher.

This class can be a little messy so please wear something that you don't mind getting a little buttercream on or bring your own apron.

Laura Larson is the owner of Laura’s Custom Cakes, a licensed home-based bakery and is also a member of the Fran’s crew. She has a passion for cake decorating and loves to share her excitement with others who want to learn. All The Details:

• Age Level: 13+
• Skill Level: Beginner
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box to take your cake home in
• The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
• Class requires a minimum of 4 students and there is a maximum of 9 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 3 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
