Buttercream Flower Cupcake Bouquet - Cake4Kids

This is a private class exclusively for Cake4Kids volunteer bakers

Cake4Kids youth frequently request floral designs. In this class you will learn how to pipe rosettes, sunflowers and hydrangeas on cupcakes. The techniques you learn in this class can also be used on cakes to create impressive designs that are sure provide a wow factor. Let’s pipe, swirl, and bloom together!

This class includes

• Tips for baking cupcakes
• How to color your buttercream
• Icing consistency for buttercream flowers
• Multiple ways to create two tone flowers

Meet Your Instructor:

Laura Larson has been a volunteer baker for Cake4Kids since 2019 when the NoVa chapter opened. She is the owner of Laura’s Custom Cakes, a licensed home-based bakery. She has a passion for cake decorating and loves to share her excitement with others who want to learn. Laura is also a member of the Fran’s squad. If you've shopped in our store, you've inevitably heard her recruiting Cake4Kids volunteer bakers and assisting many others with their design ideas. All The Details:

• Age Level: 13+
• Skill Level: Beginner
• All supplies and tools are provided for use during class.
• We will provide a box to take your cake home in
• The class may be a little messy so we recommend bringing an apron.
• If you have long hair, you may want to tie it back.
• Price is per person. A ticket must be purchased for each individual attending the class.
• Class requires a minimum of 6 students and there is a maximum of 12 students. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
• Class will run approximately 2 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule.

Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
