Author talk with Susan Muaddi Darraj

Join us for a reading about Palestinian American culture and literature, and her own journey as an author, with Susan Muaddi Darraj, an award-winning writer of books for adults and children. Her new novel, "Behind You Is The Sea," was published in January 2024, and was named a Best Book of 2024 by The New Yorker and Apple Books. "Behind You Is the Sea" was also shortlisted for the 2025 PEN/Faulkner Award.

This discussion will include a keynote address from the author followed by a public Q&A session and book signing. This program is appropriate for ages 16 and older.
