Class details: Workshop Overview: Raven Wall Sculpture in Clay
Join us for a three-hour, one-day hand-building workshop where you’ll create a striking Raven Wall Sculpture using clay.
What to Expect:
Mold Creation: Begin by crafting a custom mold for your raven sculpture.
Clay Preparation: Roll and shape a large piece of clay to wrap around your mold.
Shaping & Detailing: Add texture, form, and detail through carving and clay layering techniques.
Underglaze Painting: Apply a rich black underglaze for a bold, expressive finish.
Following the workshop, each piece will be kiln-fired and finished with a clear glaze. Completed sculptures will be ready for pickup at Northern Whimsy Studios approximately two weeks after the class.
These unique raven sculptures make stunning wall art or outdoor decorative pieces. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity and enjoy a hands-on, guided clay experience!
