Music & More: South Cushman Social Club

On Friday, October 10, beginning at 7 PM, the popular and talented South Cushman Social Club will entertain. with such hits as their cover of Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Lookin’ Out My Back Door.” Their name stems from the fact that their first club house was on South Cushman Street. They have since moved to Chena Ridge, but the name stuck. Over the years they have amassed an eclectic collection of songs from a mind-bending variety of genres including blues, Latin, rock, folk, jazz and funk. The common element between the songs they love is that they all have a groove. You will be able to sit back and tap your toe or get up and shake your leg. The South Cushman Social Club loves to groove.
