Class details: Join Us for the Mushroom Birdhouse Workshop!


This engaging three-hour workshop will guide you in crafting a mushroom birdhouse from clay. I will demonstrate the step-by-step process while creating one alongside the class.


First, we will shape the mushroom stem using hand-building techniques with slab clay.
Next, you will create the mushroom cap using a mold, allowing you to personalize its design.
Afterward, we will assemble the two pieces and carve out the entrance for the birds.
Finally, we will complete our creation by painting the mushroom with underglaze in colors of your choice. The firing process will take two weeks to complete.
Enjoy the process of making this delightful birdhouse and attract birds to their new home all year round!
