It's time for my Fall Presentation Series, and this is the first event! Make plans to come to Fair Grove the evening of September 9 to enjoy this talk about one of the most hotly debated events of the Old West, The Gunfight at the OK Corral.
Thanks to our crowds, we've outgrown the space that Monroe Coffee Co has been kind enough to offer for the past three years. So, we now will hold these presentations just two doors down from Monroe, at Bella Nina Candle Company.
We still want you to support Monroe Coffee Co in appreciation for all they've done. So, like previous events, plan to arrive around 6:30pm and get something to drink and a goody to eat at Monroe, then step two doors down to Bella Nina Candle Co and grab a seat. The talk will start promptly at 7:00pm.
We'll talk a bit about the Earps, Doc Holliday, the Clantons, the McLaurys, and a little bit about the town of Tombstone itself. Then we'll work our way to the events that took place in a little open lot between two buildings on Fremont Street. We'll wrap things up by talking about the aftermath.
As usual, I'll have my books available for sale. Additionally, the candle company will be ready to help you if you'd like to buy a candle - or several candles - to thank them for hosting this and future events.
See you there!
