Trades Group Meetup: Effective Communication and Handling Difficult Conversations, Including Scope C

In 2025, the Trades Group Meetup will focus on Managing the Trades Customer Life Cycle. August will focus on Effective Communication and Handling Difficult Conversations, including Scope Changes. We'll discuss best practices for dealing with complaints or concerns by listening, empathizing, and resolving issues without escalating tension. We'll also cover how to negotiate pricing or scope changes, approach sensitive conversations about cost adjustments or changes in project scope, manage expectations around delays or setbacks by communicating honestly when things don't go as planned, and reassure customers that their satisfaction is still a priority. Lastly, we'll explore conflict resolution techniques to resolve disagreements professionally and respectfully, maintaining long-term relationships.

The Tradespeople Networking Group is a dynamic community of professionals who meet every other month to foster meaningful relationships, develop referral partnerships, and share best practice tips.
