Debatable Foresters Touch Grass Hike

The Debatable Foresters of the Court of the Forest of the Debatable Lands invite you to Duff Park for an easy hike to get out of the house, stretch your legs, get some sun, and touch grass. This suburban park has several easy to moderate trails along Turtle Creek that will allow us to take our time and look for the signs of spring to come.

The parks department has been working on constructing fully equipped bathrooms that may or may not be ready by the time we do this hike. If they are not ready, there is a disabled style port o potty available for use.

We'll plan to meet in the parking lot. The Funk Bikeway is the easiest trail so we'll plan to utilize that one, however, if participants are up to trying a different one on the morning of, we can discuss it then. There are several other loops that are listed as moderate.

The walk is scheduled to start at 3 on the off chance that outdoor ranged practices will be occurring on that day. Additionally, If anyone wants to stick around for dusk, we can see if there are any locations that might host woodcock and see if we can hear any 'peents' later.
