After a lot of requests we have decided to run a Competition Crash Course!
What does this mean?
We will be running a progressive workshop to give information on what could help you to further your WCS. We will talk about mindset, technique and what the judges may be looking at when you are dancing, how competitions work and finally .... the dreaded spot lights!
Do I have to compete to do this course?
No! Although this will be focused on competition, insight from this class will be able to help anyone progress their west coast swing. Although a strong foundation in WCS is recommended.
The scary bit!
During this course we will hold trial competition rounds. You will be invited to dance in a spot light fashion and have both your teaching team and peers look at your dance to offer helpful advice.
If anyone is uncomfortable in dancing in front of their peers there is no obligation. However, we recommend it as everyone will be outside their comfort zones and we will work toward a constructive and supportive atmosphere.
The workshops will last approximately 2.5 hours and have small breaks to be able to help process all the information given.
Passes for this workshop will be limited and we recommend pre booking by contacting us on Facebook or on WhatsApp to secure your place.
The price is £20 per person.
We do not require people to book as a role balanced pair, however we will have to keep numbers as even as possible.
