Our Sketchathon is fast approaching — and excitement is building!
For those who haven’t heard the full details yet, Sketchathon is a 12-hour marathon of live entertainment, taking place from 10am–10pm, raising funds and awareness for our new theatre project. Throughout the day, audiences will be able to drop in and out as we present a constantly changing programme of short performances — from comedy and improv to music, monologues, drama, children’s sessions and more. It’s ambitious, energetic, and a true celebration of our creative community.
Now it’s time to bring everyone involved together.
If you’re already taking part in the Sketchathon, please join us for our General Meeting:
📅 Tuesday 17th March
🕢 7:30pm
We’ll be covering plans for the day, how the programme will run, logistics, timings, and what we need to make the event seamless from morning to night.
If you’re signed up, please do attend if you can. If you’re unavailable, let Richard or Wendy know.
Not signed up yet?
There’s still time — and this meeting is the perfect opportunity to get involved.
We’re now beginning to fill the rota for the day and will need plenty of helping hands, including:
🍺 Bar support
🎟 Box Office
🎭 Registering acts
🎛 Tech box support
🎬 Backstage assistance
Whether you’re performing, pouring drinks, running tech, or keeping everything ticking behind the scenes — this event will only succeed if we pull together.
It’s going to be a big, bold, brilliantly bonkers day… and we’ll need lots of hands to make it run smoothly.
Come along. Get involved. Be part of something special. 🎭✨
