We’re planning something big, bold and brilliantly bonkers for Gala Week 2026 – and we’d love you to be part of it!
Join us for an interest evening to find out more about our upcoming Sketchathon, a 12-hour marathon of live entertainment taking place on Friday 23rd May, 10am–10pm, raising funds and awareness for our new theatre project.
The Sketchathon will feature a constantly changing programme of short performances, with audiences able to drop in throughout the day. We’re looking for performers and helpers of all kinds, and this evening is your chance to hear more, ask questions, and throw ideas into the mix.
🎭 We’re looking for:
Sketches and comedy routines
One-act plays
Monologues and duologues
Improv
Singing and dancing
Poetry and spoken word
Stand-up comedy
Or anything creative you’d love to suggest
You don’t need a fully formed idea – just curiosity, enthusiasm, or a willingness to get involved. This could be your chance to try something completely new, or dust off something you already love performing.
We’ll also need help behind the scenes on the day, including front of house and bar support, so there are plenty of ways to be involved.
👋 Open to members and non-members
💡 No pressure – just come along and find out more
If you’re interested but can’t make the evening, please get in touch and we’ll put you in contact with Richard and Wendy, who are organising this wonderfully ambitious event.
Come along, bring your ideas, and help us create something unforgettable! 🎉🎭
