SUMMER THEATRE WEEK FOR IMAGINATIVE 7 – 12 YEAR OLDS
Imaginative young people aged 7 to 12 are invited to create a stage play with award winning PaddleBoat Theatre Company during the Summer holidays.
The inventive Exeter-based company, which is known for its distinctive and playful approach to theatre, will guide youngsters through a week of storytelling, puppetry, music, design, acting and devising.
This theatre week offers children the chance to have fun creating with other children and professional artists to put together a piece of original drama and perform on a professional stage at the Exeter Phoenix.
The week will focus on the adventure story – Around the World in 80 days! Join us in our attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days, in just 5 days! As a group of intrepid explorers we will work together to create our own version of this epic adventure.
At the end of the week, friends and family will be welcomed to the Exeter Phoenix to watch the children perform their very own version of Around the World in 80 days.

The week is for children aged 7-12 years old on course start date – no previous theatre experience required.
Rehearsals and the performance will take place in the Exeter Phoenix. PaddleBoat will be at the Exeter Phoenix entrance to meet and greet children and parents/guardians. By purchasing a place on this theatre week you agree that your child(ren) must be signed in when they are dropped off and signed out when they are picked up by a nominated adult.
Refunds will not be given unless the booked space is filled by another customer.

10-4pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
10-3pm Friday with performance at 2.30pm
