Mithu Sanyal

Join us for an evening with Dr. Mithu Sanyal, an award-winning writer visiting from Germany.

Sanval is a novelist, academic, literary critic, columnist and broadcaster. Her work has been published by international media including the BBC, WDR, SWR, The European and The Guardian, DIE ZEIT, etc. Her books include debut novel Identitti (2021), shortlisted for the German Book Award. Her new novel Antichristie (2024) was also nominated fort he German Book Prize and deals with the question of anti-colonial resistance through time travel and the works of Agatha Christie!
