Memories Without Borders

Do you have items related to Japanese American incarceration during WWII? Do you want to share these items online so the public can learn from them, while keeping them within your family/organization?

Bring them into the Exeter Branch Library on either Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 10am-1pm & 2pm-5pm or Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 10am-1pm & 2pm-5pm. We will help coordinate the digitization and preservation of the materials via Mobile Memory Lab.

All items will be returned to the family or to the holding organization.

Funded by the California Civil Liberties Program, Memories Without Borders is a project with California Revealed, Manzanar National Historic Site, and Inyo County Free Library to digitize and preserve collections related to Japanese American incarceration, either held by individuals or organizations.
