GET TO GRIPS WITH IMPROV

Fun and laughter guaranteed!

This is a five week introduction to the playful theatre craft of Improv which creates stories, scenes and playful games with no script. The course will cover elements of teamwork, saying yes to things, building on ideas, being bold, developing characters, trusting the flow and trusting yourself to be able to make things up on the spot as well as supporting your team to do the same.

Playfulness and laughter in abundance, you will learn so much with ease and support. Growing in confidence is a happy by-product!

ABOUT CATHY TOWERS

Cathy is an experienced improviser with over a decade of experience. She has performed as part of The Nursery House team "Tiny Dinos", as well as Improperly and Everyday People. She has appeared in acting roles with Exe Ensemble, Northcott Theatre, Scratchworks, and Four of Swords. With a background in public speaking, she has had feedback that her Improv for Speakers workshop was one of the best ever workshops at the Professional Speaking Association. With a regular radio show on Phonic FM for many years, Cathy also hosts events at places like Exeter Phoenix and Exmouth Festival.
