Welcome!

Please do take a couple of minutes to read the details below as it explains what you can expect from our workshops.

Places are very limited so booking is essential. It will not be possible to turn up without a ticket. If less than 2 tickets are sold, we will contact you and refund your payment as we need 2 to 6 attendees to be able to go ahead. We are based at the far end of Exeter Library on the Ground Floor. We have excellent accesibility - we are all on one level.
We are happy for drinks to be purchased from the Cafe to be brought into the workshop - our Digital Making Tutor is very welcoming and the workshops will have a relaxed vibe - the workshops are suitable for complete beginners.

About this Workshop:

In our workshops, our Digital Making Tutor, Marcus Brown, will take you through the basics of using Canva to create your own digital poster design. If you wish to use your own images, either bring them on a mobile phone to the workshop or email them in advance to bWFyY3VzICEgYnJvd24gfCBsaWJyYXJpZXN1bmxpbWl0ZWQgISBvcmcgISB1aw== If they are too large to email, you could send them using the website WeTransfer.com.

This workshop includes Eventbrite Fees and we will also print you an A1 poster to take home with you. This could be a poster for your home or could be made as a gift for someone else.

This workshop includes:

One full-colour A1 poster print on one side.

Design Making

If all goes to plan, your poster will be printed at the end of the workshop. If something doesn't go to plan, we will print it after the workshop and we will let you know when it's ready for collection.

A few things to note:

Refunds - our policy is no refunds. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as we are running a waiting list and, if we can resell your ticket, we will refund your ticket (but not the Eventbrite fee). If we cannot resell your ticket then no refund will be issued. If you are unable to attend then please notify us as soon as possible and then we can 'release your ticket'.

If we have to cancel a workshop for any reason, we will refund you your payment in full.

Late Arrival - It will not be possible to join the workshop if you arrive more than 15 minutes late. By this time, we are getting into the technical content of the workshop and it's not possible to go back over what we have already covered.
