Exeter Cemetery Picturing, Adding GPS and learn from the main Crew

On the May long weekend we will be gathering at Exeter Public Cemetery with the main focus to picture headstones with GPS coordinates for Find a Grave memorials

The group organizers will also teach how proper cleaning techniques for cleaning headstones in a safe manner using approved biocide cleaner (Wet and Forget) recommended by the National Cemetery Association.

Volunteers are asks to bring their own lunch/water, cell phone with the Find a Grave app installed. If you have garden digging tools if you would like to help edge some ground stones. Hand soap/sanitizer to wash your hands. If you would like to bring a Jug of Wet and Forget it is appreciated (available at Costco, Canadian Tire, Rona). We will have some product on hand.

If you have ancestors stones that are at Exeter Cemetery and would like to give permission for us to clean please send me the Find a Grave dot come memorial number (or link to their memorial).

Exact times of the event aren't set in stone. weather dependent. Volunteers can join for the weekend, day or even just a few hours. more hands make light work.
