Community Threads at FabLab

Join us for a relaxed art session where you’ll help create a beautiful community tapestry inspired by the global .

You’ll be designing your own fabric square on the theme of culture, identity and community, which will be displayed as part of a series of banners at Killerton House from 29th November to 4th January.

Everyone is welcome — families, individuals, all ages and abilities! Whether you're a seasoned artist or just fancy having a go, this is a chance to get creative and be part of something special.

The Red Dress is a powerful global art project that has brought together over 350 people from 51 countries through embroidery, storytelling and shared creativity. It celebrates identity, culture and connection — and now you can be part of its spirit right here in Exeter.
