Back to school backpack program:
Our association will be providing 200 backpacks stocked with back to school essentials for County elementary and middle school children that may not otherwise have these supplies. We are going to be working with the schools to help identify children that will benefit from this program.
To help raise funds for this program, we will be hosting a "Pint Night" at and with the help of Patriotic American Brewery on August 28th from 4 - 8 PM. A portion of the portion of the pint sales on this night will go towards funding this program.
We will also have a raffle on this night as well with the funds from it going to a lunch program for those that may not qualify for the free lunch program offered by the schools, but are still in need.
