Three Bold Works, One Exceptional Afternoon, The Everett Philharmonic in Concert!

Join the Everett Philharmonic in the opening concert of its history-making season. The first of three candidates hoping to take over the mantle of music director will ascend the podium for one concert only.

Guest Conductor William White will lead an afternoon of electrifying contrasts and rich musical storytelling. This powerful program blends American edge virtuosic flair and timeless Romanticism into one unforgettable concert.

We open with Samuel Barber’s Overture to The School for Scandal – a dazzling high-energy piece full of wit and orchestral sparkle.

Next acclaimed violinist Maria Sampen takes the stage for William Bolcom’s Concerto in D for Violin a genre-bending work that fuses classical tradition with jazz blues and fiery rhythms. Sampen’s artistry and presence promises a performance you won’t want to miss.

The afternoon concludes with the lush beauty and emotional depth of Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 3. From noble themes to intimate moments Brahms’ genius shines in every moment.
