ABOUT BARB HONCHAK

Barb Honchak is a former professional mixed martial artist and Invicta FC Flyweight Champion, widely respected for her skill, strength, and dedication to empowering others through martial arts. With over a decade of experience in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and self-defense training, Barb combines technical expertise with a deep passion for helping individuals build confidence, resilience, and personal safety awareness.

Now retired from professional competition, Barb has shifted her focus to education through workshops integrating practical self-defense techniques making them accessible and empowering for all bodies and backgrounds. At this seminar, Barb will guide participants through real-world strategies for personal protection while fostering a deeper connection to their inner strength.

ABOUT ALI

After many years of sobriety, Ali found that traditional therapy and Northern medicine were no longer enough to help her recover from Generational Trauma and past abuse. Her pursuit of alternative healing solutions led her to Shamanic Energy Healing and Crystals, which inspired her to establish Awaken Yourself.

With a passion for educating clients on personalized holistic solutions, Ali continually researches new alternatives to offer her clients. As a Reiki Master/Teacher, Womb Therapist, Sound Healer, and Practicing Shaman and Teacher of Shamanic Energy Healing, Ali’s mission is to help her clients achieve their goals through effective holistic practices. Her true gift is bringing people together to learn and share space.In 2023, Ali received an incredible opportunity to bring her vision for Awaken Yourself to life. A storefront with several healing spaces attached was available, providing the perfect environment to promote community and assist it in growing.
