Wednesday Talks: Unpicking Threads: The Life and Work of Suffolk Born Artist Mary Beale (1633-1699)
Juliet Lockhart from Suffolk Women’s History Network will introduce Mary Beale and a brief history of her life. She will also discuss her doctoral research into Mary’s life, including an explanation of how she uses art to both investigate and present an imaginative representation of the past.
