Volunteer – Future Billionaire Back to School Bash

Volunteer roles may include, but are not limited to:

• Event setup and breakdown
• Check-in and registration support
• General event assistance
• Program or activity support
• Cleanup and closing support

Roles and time commitments are listed during registration.

• Volunteers must be 18 years or older, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• Volunteers must register in advance
• Volunteers must follow all BLAKC policies and on-site instructions
• Orientation is required prior to completing certain volunteer roles

BLAKC uses a role-based eligibility approach to ensure safety, compliance, and accessibility.

• Background checks may be required for certain volunteer roles
• Roles involving youth engagement, sensitive information, or independent responsibility may require additional screening
• Event-based, group-supervised roles typically do not require background checks

Volunteer placement is based on role selection, eligibility, and event needs.

Volunteer hours may be accepted for:

• Court-ordered community service for non-violent offenses only (advance approval required)
• Bright Futures and other scholarship service-hour requirements
• College credit, internships, and service-learning programs

BLAKC is unable to accept volunteers for certain offense types, including offenses that may pose safety, compliance, or liability concerns in family-focused environments.

All court-ordered service requests require prior documentation and approval. Acceptance is at BLAKC’s discretion.

Service hours are verified after successful completion of the volunteer assignment. Not all service requests can be accommodated.
