About the event

VE Day Celebration

A fun family day to celebrate VE Day and remember those we lost in the war.
We will start with the blessing of the memorial trees and a short speech.
Then our fun sports day and tug of war tournament will begin!
We’ve got food vans and a bar, cake stall and teas, a display of military memorabilia too.
Any offers of help greatly appreciated, plus anyone looking to sponsor a race would be great.
