Sacred Medicine of the Drum

Come gather round the drum circle and feel a deep connection with our Inter-tribal Indigenous sisters and their ancestors before them. Feel the heartbeat of Mother Earth in the medicine of the big drum. Add your voice in prayer as you hear the call-and-response chanting of sacred Native American prayers, and feel your heart soar.

What you will experience:

• smudging with white sage
• setting intentions and prayers
• singing ancient songs/prayers together with our hearts, hands, and drums
• healing sent to All of Our Relations - winged, crawlers, flyers and humans
• talk story around the sacred fire
• enjoying a mini feast with the shared snacks we bring

What to Bring:

• rattles, wooden flute, or other instruments
• food or a non-alcoholic beverage to share (optional)
• sweater or light blanket in case it is chilly

Cost: $35 ($20 will be donated to Sisters of the One Drum)

Sisters of the One Drum is an Inter-Tribal indigenous women's collective that gathers around the ceremonial Drum for the soul purpose of healing. They offer ancestral healings, meditation, breathwork, sound healing, ceremonies, medicine wheel, and storytelling.

About Kathy Brook-Wong, Event Host

Kathy Brook-Wong is an Advanced Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui Reiki Ryoho, Tibetan Reiki, and Kundalini Reiki lineages as well as a certified Sound Healer and Advanced Integrative Energy Therapy Practitioner. She shares her intuitive healing gifts with others to help them tap into the infinite source of light, love, peace, joy, beauty, truth, and power to help heal themselves, their relationships, their communities and Mother Earth. She is also a Hospice Angel providing sweet companionship, support, and Reiki to Hospice patients throughout Orange County.

Kathy has been leading online Reiki + Healing Art Circles featuring guest healers of various healing modalities for the past four years. In addition, she brings the community together for connection, inspiration and healing through her Healing Journey Series and retreats which are in-person intensive events. Most recently she has been offering sound baths & private sound healing sessions throughout Southern California.
