Navigating Loss & Healing: The Journey of Pregnancy and Infant Loss
Did you know that approximately 10-20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage? Are you aware of the physical, emotional, and mental implications that families experience as a result of pregnancy and infant loss? Are you someone who has experienced pregnancy and/or infant loss?
Join us this October to commemorate National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month as we engage in difficult, but necessary conversations on pregnancy and infant loss. We’ll hear from a panel of medical professionals and people with lived experience to learn ways to support families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss, and resources in our community.
It’s vital that we begin to heal in community and not in isolation. This event will be a safe and brave space for families as well as an opportunity to listen and learn about the experiences of our neighbors.
We invite individuals with lived experience and their supporters to attend. We highly encourage medical professionals, case managers, social workers, counselors, HR professionals, and leaders to attend this event to learn about ways to support women and families who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss.
If your organization is interested in providing resources or if you have any questions, please contact Alishea at YWxpc2hlYSB8IHd5bm5lbmxpZ2h0ZW5lZCAhIGNvbQ==.
A light meal will be served at this event.
