Dr Raquel Butler from Integrated Veterinary Therapeutics is returning to SA in August for a very unique, interactive 3-day Functional Posture Clinic!

Raquel aims to empower all horse people/disciplines, from pleasure owners to competitive riders and equine professionals, to assess their horses' postural habits and compensations, and offers creative environmental and physical solutions to enhance wellbeing, function and performance.
Day 1 will involve theory presentations and assessments on attending horses. Train your eye to see where horses hold tension patterns, and what a healthy posture looks like!
Days 2 and 3 will involve practical exercises tailored to the individual horses present. These include postural in-hand exercises, mobilisations, the use of obstacles and environmental factors plus lots more!
ABOUT DR. RAQUEL BUTLER BVSc, BSc(Hons), GCLTHE, EMRT, EEBW
Since graduating from Melbourne University as a Veterinarian in 2004, Raquel worked in mixed and small animal practice in Australia and the UK. She began her business Integrated Veterinary Therapeutics in 2012 treating horses and small animals with Equine Muscle Release Therapy and then Animal Biomechanical Medicine.
Raquel has studied many therapies including the Masterson Method, Equine EcoSomatics (Craniosacral), Vetkin Taping, saddle fitting, laser (photobiomodulation) therapy, Myofascial acupuncture with Dr. Kerry Ridgway, Acupuncture Oriented Energetics with Dr. Christian Torp and Myofascial Kinetic lines with Dr. Rikke Schultz.
Raquel has been mentored by Sharon May-Davis and in 2015 she began teaching clinics in Equine Anatomy and Palpation, Equine Biomechanics, Equine Veterinary Biomechanical Assessment and Equine Vetkin taping, to practitioners and horse owners in Australia, UK and Holland
In 2018 she accepted a position at Charles Sturt in Wagga Wagga teaching Equine Science. Raquel has her own horses and is passionate about equine rehabilitation and also teaches for EQUINOLOGY as well as running online courses for passionate horse people!
As most of you know Raquel is one of my absolute favourite and most influential clinicians/bodyworkers/uni lecturers/human beings and I am always so excited to learn more from her!
