How can ecovillages and regenerative communities embody the Rights of Nature — recognising that ecosystems and species have the right to exist, thrive, and regenerate?
Join us for a special GENOA Community Call exploring how the global Rights of Nature movement can come alive in our ecovillages and communities across Oceania and Asia. Together, we’ll listen, reflect, and co-create pathways for collective action.
We’ll open with inspirations from leading voices in this movement:
🌿 Mumta Ito – Founder of Nature’s Rights and creator of the Integrated Rights Framework
🌿 Alex Pelizzon – Co-founder and Executive Committee Member of the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature (GARN)
🌿 Thalea Tane – Māori indigenous leader, sharing wisdom from indigenous worldviews and guardianship of the natural world
Together, we will hold an open dialogue on:
✨ How can the ecovillage movement play a part?
✨ What concrete actions and practices can we begin to embody as communities?
This gathering is an invitation to learn together and imagine what it looks like when ecovillages recognise Nature not as a resource, but as a living relative — and act as guardians for life.
🕊️ In the spirit of gift: This call is offered as a community contribution — all are welcome.
