CAMP THEME
“Heroes and Sages: An Assembly of Artists”

A motto of BAFS is “We Train Heroes." We are on a mission of character development - creating spaces for poets to remember their creative agency and to be an orator of an emerging cultural reality.

Heroes and sages serve to protect human kind through wisdom and altruism, as well as through demonstrating great valor and enterprise in the face of suffering.

Toni Morrison said “this is precisely the time Artists go to work - there is no time for despair, no place for self pity, no need for silence, no room for fears. We speak, we write - this is how civilizations heal”

Camp is coming down the mountain to gather in multiple locations in Boulder, with field trip events scheduled across the Front Range!
