Guided Walk – New Mill to Morton Wood (Circular Walk)
Join us for a guided scenic walk with experienced walker Chris Abell. We will be starting at the centre of New Mill in Huddersfield and looking for Old Mills on the way as we walk alongside New Mill Dyke and then a tributary in Morton Wood. Our return back to New Mill will be through fields, along New Mill Dyke and the busy A616.
This walk is approximately 8km and we will be walking for about 3 hours on some narrow, uneven paths which can be difficult in some areas underfoot.
Boots are recommended as the paths are rough in places and please wear suitable outdoor clothing.
Places are limited for this event and booking is essential.
