Want to skip the sweltering DC heat, frustration, and long elevator lines of move-in at Georgetown? For the past ten years, the Georgetown Heavyweight Rowing team has been helping students and their families avoid the hassle of transporting their furniture, boxes, and bags halfway across the country.
The team drives several trucks, starting in the Northeast, stopping at almost 30 cities along the way, and ending in DC. In the city closest to home, you can meet us with your student's belongings and we will safely transport them to Georgetown and into your child's dorm. On move-in day, skip the parking headache and the long elevator lines - all you have to do is unpack!
This year, we are also planning routes through other areas of the country. And if you don't live along one of our routes, you can ship your belongings (or Amazon deliveries) to us instead!
