Cindy and Tom Muro’s Shadlow Hill

“Shadblow Hill” began as a partly wooded lot with some dry meadow. Since 2017, Cindy & Tom Muro have nurtured their 2.4 acres (about the area of a Manhattan city block) to open the view and establish a small “edible forest” that includes a variety of fruit trees, berry bushes and summer vegetables, with ample room for native shrubs and wildflowers. Special care has been taken to foster native plants like sweet fern, goldenrod, little bluestem, low bush blueberry, trailing arbutus and many, many more. Join us on their patio for cool summer drinks, treats, and possibly some pollinator seeds to share. Reserve your place to join us for this special garden tour. Free, but space is limited; donations to WPP welcome.
