Friday 8th August, 10am - 12.30pm - With a tea, coffee and cake break.
The Studio, Lewes, East Sussex - Address details will be shared with participants.
£25 per person - All materials provided: paper, charcoal, rubbers, fixative, drawing boards.
What you will draw in this workshop:
Your subject will be a collection of tools, broadly 'still life'. However, you will be learning about the properties of the charcoal as well as the variety of marks and tones that can be made by working on each other's drawings in the first half of the class. In the second half of the class you will work on your own drawings. We will discuss our own work and the work of other artists, and there will be plenty of opportunities for 1:1 support.
Where the workshop will take place:
This small group class will take place in the garden at the Studio of Natasha O'Kane Sussex Contemporary Art, in the Nevill, Lewes. If there is bad weather, the workshop will take place inside the Studio. Address details will be shared with participants. There are small steps in the Studio, and into the garden location. Unfortunately this workshop is not wheelchair accessible. Please contact bmF0YXNoYSB8IG5hdGFzaGFva2FuZSAhIGFydA== for further accessibility details.
