3-4pm Receiving of guests
4-5pm eulogies (roast style, anyone speaking encouraged to keep 90% or more of their delivery fun and up beat. Story telling etc. Something like his 60th bday roast 2.0. Please contact by DM or email if you wish to speak.
5-8pm live entertainment and bbq
This event will be licensed and under a tent combined with our main tour vessel Grand Heron dockside. Dress attire should be smart casual. Because this event will be semi outdoor, guests should bring coats/warmer attire as the evenings in May can get quite cool. The boat will have cabin heat.
Guests from out of town are encouraged to book lodging asap. There are a couple hotels and many airbnb options on Manitoulin. While Gore Bay has several overnight options, it may be necessary to find lodging as far away as Little Current where the bulk of Manitoulin Island’s hotels/motels are located.
