Bread & Belonging: Free Community Dinner (Italian Meal)

Our community is joyful — but also real about the challenges we’re facing. So as a small give-back, I’m opening my home for Bread & Belonging, a series of free community dinners this season for anyone in our sapphic community who’s struggling financially right now.

I can’t fix the shutdown, the rent hikes, or the economy — but this is my little contribution: space, food, and connection.

Each dinner is home-cooked, shared at my table, and meant to remind us that we’re still cared for, even in hard times. 💛

Here’s what’s on the menu:

• Pasta with Italian sausage and Rao’s marinara sauce
• Parmesan cheese
• Garden salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette
• Veggie option: pasta with a cottage-cheese–enriched sauce for extra protein
• A few beverages

If you sign up for this dinner, you’re confirming that you can eat this menu and can get to a home in Fort Totten (a 15-minute walk from the Fort Totten Metro and on the E2 bus line).

• Spots are limited to 10 guests. If you can’t make it, please cancel right away so another person can take your spot.
• You can join multiple waitlists, but please remove yourself from others once you get a confirmed ticket for one date.
• Please only attend one Bread & Belonging dinner so we can feed as many people as possible.
• No need to bring anything — just yourself and your appetite.
• No photos will be taken at this event to maintain privacy and comfort.

• There are stairs in my home.
• I have pets, but they’ll be put away during the event. If you have a severe allergy, this dinner may not be a good fit.

Open to queer women and sapphics 35+ — and anyone in our wider community who feels they belong.

You’re welcome to reserve a spot for yourself, your partner and your kids if they’ll eat the same menu and there are tickets available
