Mixtape Sapphics is an events series centering queer women/sapphics 35 and up — especially those of us who grew up making mixtapes off the radio, riding bikes until the streetlights came on, and learning to love ourselves along the way. While we center 35+, all are welcome.Founded in the DC area, we create intimate, intentional spaces where grown sapphics can connect, unwind, and build community. From happy hours to soulful gatherings, our center intersectionality, diverse voices and and to support local queer-owned and other minority-owned businesses, and prioritize warmth, joy, and belonging.We’re building a space as varied and vibrant as a good mixtape — and you’re invited.
