Join us for a unique, creative experience at the heart of Scotland’s industrial heritage! Led by the talented tutors from Dalkeith Arts, our local voluntary arts organisation, this inspiring adults-only art day offers a series of hands-on workshops set against the dramatic backdrop of the National Mining Museum Scotland.
Explore your creativity through your choice of:
1. Still life watercolour painting using artefacts from the museum's collection
2. Charcoal portrait drawing – there may be an ex-miner there as our model
3. Felting workshop
4. Acrylics
5. Wild card – 10 places available
Bring your own materials! Limited supplies will be available to use on the day.
All inspired by the striking architecture, rich history, and fascinating artefacts of the Lady Victoria Colliery.
