Facebook only goes out to April 26.. but Carnival season (in Cuba) starts in late June and goes through till late August. Will adjust dates once Facebook makes them available.
NB: this is Cuba NOT Brazil.. Carnival there is similar, but not on same scale.. and not connected to the religious calendar, thus the timing in Cuban summer time when too hot to anything else but party and go to the beach!

Now that the world has settled down post COVID.. and now that we have finally found a studio in town.. and now that we have relaunched business.. am dusting off a number projects we had to put on hold even before COVID, including this one.
Been a long time coming. Last time we thought about doing this was in 2017 for 2018..
The plan is basically the same.. to follow the Los Carnivales de Cuba* around the country, starting with:
- Trinidad & Camagüey Carnivales (Fiestas San Juaneras) in late June
- El Festival del Caribe (La Fiesta de Fuego) in Santiago de Cuba early July
- Carnival de Santiago de Cuba & 26 July celebrations in Santiago de Cuban late July
- El Carnival de la Habana late August in Havana
The idea is to mix and match.. get there yourself.. meet us wherever we are.. and we just help you know what's going on.. as much as we can, which isn't always easy, where to go, how to do things...
We also plan to spend some time in the small town in Rafa grew up in.. before moving back to Havana (San Manuel, Puerto Padre. Las Tunas.) and if possible organise classes with his hero, the dance teacher who set him on his path - Siverio
