Are you ready to become the King or Queen of The Rise?
Join us Saturday, August 9, for the first round of The Rise Challenge Series presented by Niagara Water at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve!
Since opening in November 2022, The Rise has become one of the preserve’s most iconic and beloved features — a grueling ascent of 185 steps, equal to climbing 11 flights of stairs.
The Challenge:
Complete as many full rounds (up and down = 1 round) of The Rise as you can in one hour.
For a $50 registration fee, you’ll be entered into both races — August 9 and November 8. Your combined performance will determine the ultimate winners.
Race Day Details:
Women’s categories start at 7:00 AM
Men’s categories start at 8:15 AM
Everyone runs during the same time block, but you’ll only compete within your age category.
Categories:
Junior Male & Female (18 & under)
Adult Male & Female (19–49)
Masters Male & Female (50+)
We’ll crown a King and Queen of The Rise for each category in November, based on the combined results from both races. Set your benchmark in August, then come back stronger in November to claim your crown!
Registration:
Closes Thursday, August 7, at 5:00 PM
Includes a t-shirt and a JUNK headband
