Dingwall Players is beginning development on a new and very exciting project. Come and be part of that .......

Following the successes of both “Life is a Cabaret?” and ‘Café Eccentrique’, Dingwall Players is beginning development on a new and very exciting project. It has the working title: Raw (the musical) - a contemporary work notionally set in the Highlands, drawing on music from 20th century Broadway as well as 21st century pop.

An initial development session is taking place on Sunday 3rd August 1.30-3pm in the Café Bar, Dingwall Community Centre. Anyone with an interest in music, theatre, performance is invited to come along, not only to learn about the project but to participate in some early read & sing-throughs and offer feedback to critique the work so far. This project is in its early stages and this development session is not about auditioning nor casting but a conversation gauging response to the idea before looking at further development. If there is sufficient support, we could be looking at staging Raw in early to mid-2026

Ali Wood will lead this development session. Please let her know if you're coming so that we can have plenty working drafts of the script to hand.
