Alness Point Pond Volunteer Session

We are looking for volunteers to drop along and help remove some invasive vegetation from the pond ahead of the amphibian breeding season. 🐸🐸🐸

Marcia the Ranger will be there from 10am to 3pm and you can join for as long or as little as you like. The main job will be pulling and raking vegetation on to the banks of the pond where we will leave it for a couple of days to allow critters to make their way back in to the pond.

Tea and coffee will be available and tools and gloves can be provided. Although you are welcome to bring your own. Wellies are essential and waders would be a bonus. However only those comfortable going in to the water will be asked to do so.
