Dear Members of the Democratic Party of Evanston,
Please be advised that on Sunday, July 20, at 4 p.m., at a private residence in northwest Evanston (address sent out approximately one week beforehand), in accordance with the bylaws of the Democratic Party of Evanston (published on the website home page), the annual meeting of the membership will be held.
Join us for an opportunity to mingle with our Democratic leaders, meet members of our Board of Directors, and vote on the agenda presented below.
In order to attend:

2. You must be a current member of the DPOE. If you are not a member or your membership has lapsed, please renew your membership here before RSVPing.
The agenda for the meeting will include a vote on board seat retentions, officer reappointment, and our updated membership opportunities.

DPOE Board Nominees For Retention
Gennifer Geer, Board Member
Gennifer has been on the DPOE Board for three years, including two years of service as Treasurer. She is also the National Committee Representative for the Young Democrats of Illinois and International Officer for the Young Democrats of America. Gennifer is a seasoned campaign consultant and most recently worked on her own inaugural bid for public office as Alderperson in Evanston's Third Ward. She currently serves on Evanston’s Environment Board.
Kathy Hayes, Board Member
Kathy is a grandmother, mother, and community volunteer, born and raised in Evanston. She worked for 24 years in Cook County Government, both for the State's Attorney Office and Cook County Health, before retiring. As DPOE President, Kathy coordinated DPOE support for the 2024 General Election and the 2025 Municipal Election.
