ABOUT THE EVENT
John, Josh, and Charles Kelley are a trio of brothers from Augusta, Georgia, who were raised on golf and music. They’re now adults with families of their own, and while only one still calls Augusta home, all still have a love for the community that raised them. Over the years their passion for golf, music, and family has only grown.
That’s why The Kelley Brothers chose their hometown for their Sticks & Strings Concert and Golf Tournament. This 4th Annual event kicks off with a celebrity concert at the Columbia County Performing Arts Center on Sun, Aug 24 then moves over to Champions Retreat Golf Club on Mon, Aug 25 for an exciting round on the course. Proceeds from the event will benefit charities in the three areas that were major influences in the brothers’ lives: golf, music, and family. The golf organization is First Tee – Augusta, 12 Bands of Christmas is the music charity, and to honor their family, The John W. Kelley, M.D., Cardiovascular Endowment at the Piedmont Augusta Foundation rounds out the charity recipients.
