Join us Sunday, September 7, from 1-3 pm for a free, hands-on, garden-to-kitchen workshop with award-winning naturalist and artist, Cate Be (she/ze). You’ll learn the tradition behind this warming tonic and create your own jar to take home. We are excited to share garlic grown in the wellness garden as a feature ingrediant.
Meet our guest educator:
Cate studied natural resources, ecological restoration, herbalism, and more, graduating with a Bachelor of Science and two minors from Humboldt State University. Cate has been making her own Fire Ciders and Elderberry Elixirs for the community for years. She currently lives as a working artist, activist, resistance fighter, medicinal purveyor, and community builder with a small garden and her small emotional support gentle-sir, Hachi.
