What makes America exceptional? Though each of these are important, America is not exceptional because of the military which defends, the resources which finance it, or the Constitution which safeguards the liberties of her people. What makes America truly exceptional is the foundation laid in 1776, when 56 brave men declared that "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” What makes this nation exceptional is we have understood from the very conception of our nation our rights are given by God and the governments only role is to preserve the rights with each our consent. We are the only nation founded on the understanding - liberty is a gift from God, not a privilege to be granted or taken away, and this truth has made us the most benevolent, prosperous, and exceptional nation the world has ever known. With experience as a policy analyst in the Texas House of Representatives, he contributed to key legislative initiatives. Previously serving as an ambassador for Rick Green's Patriot Academy, Mike now holds the role of Chief of Outreach for Glenn Beck's American Journey Experience. In this capacity, he works to inspire future leaders and safeguard America's history. Through speaking engagements and leadership roles, Mike empowers individuals to become informed citizens, fostering positive change in communities and across the nation.
