About the event

Wildland & Public Lands Conservation
10/18/2025 Saturday
Wildland & Public Lands Conservation Day

Fieldtrip with Oregon Wild https://www.facebook.com/OregonWild
9:00am-12:00pm @ Goodman Creek Trail

Join Oregon Wild on a guided walk into our nearby public forest lands on the Willamette National Forest. Experience a healthy forest ecosystem - complete with towering moss-draped trees - along the Goodman Creek Trail, and learn about the benefits of ancient groves like this for clean water, wildlife, and our climate. We’ll hike up to 3 miles round trip at an easy pace so we can fully experience the forest and discuss current efforts to protect forests like these from increased logging and other development. Advance registration is required, and more details will be shared a few days before the event to those registered.
