Cycling the GAP and C & O Canal Trail (Pittsburgh to D.C.) - with Lana Lindstrom & Sue Zeni

Lana Lindstrom and Richard Hughes recently rode their bikes on the Great Allegheny Passage and the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal Trail, a 330-mile traffic-free route from Pittsburg, PA, to Washington, DC. Sue Zeni did a similar trip last year. Each group accomplished the route through two different experiences – one used a company to transport luggage and make the lodging and restaurant arrangements; the other was done as a self-supported camping trip. Join these intrepid Obsidians as they share their experiences and different perspectives of their parallel journeys.

Social time begins at 6:00 pm; Potluck at 6:30 pm; Presentation at 7:30 pm. Bring a potluck dish along with your personal plate, utensils and mug. If you want to attend just the presentation, please arrive just before 7:30 pm. A small donation is gladly appreciated.
